The
Big Event: Xbox Game Console is Launched
The
glitzy green launch for the new Xbox
Game Consoles took place just after the stroke of midnight
on November 15 in New York City. As Times Square blazed
green, Bill Gates unveiled Microsoft's
new entry into the booming game console marketplace. Gates
even went a couple of rounds of wrestling with the Rock
of the WWF on a new Xbox game called DOA3.

Not
only is this game console superb, the games themselves are
marvels and promise to be a lot of fun. You don't have to
buy one to try out Xbox
games either. There are in-store demo kiosks that give
you a view of the most amazing video gaming experience yet.
Microsoft also has a traveling Odyssey Touring Show which
stops at major selected cities so look for them at a location
near you.

Xbox
Game Consoles Available at Retail Kiosks
You
can try out the Xbox Game Consoles at numerous retail
stores across North America. As seen here, the Xbox
demo kiosks allow up to two players to play Xbox games
in-store. Ask the salespeople nicely and they may
just have a copy of your favorite game to try out.
There's quite a few Xbox games
on sale now and many are getting rave reviews.
Try
before you buy because after all, the console still
costs about $400 plus a little more for the DVD movie
playback kit. Since DVD players themselves cost $200,
you're getting good value for your money.

First
Xbox Sold
Edward
Glucksman of Keansburg, New Jersey was the first to purchase
an Xbox and was presented with an autographed Xbox game
console by Bill Gates himself. The event was well attended
by the media and Microsoft was reported to have spent 500
million dollars on the launch. Visitors from around the
world lined up outside the launch venue and outside retail
stores to get a chance to buy one of the exciting Xbox
game consoles.
Xbox
Games
What
are Xbox Games? They
are a special video game format which utilize the tremendous
graphics processing power of the Xbox gaming console which
uses the NVIDIA
processor.
Microsoft
is the first video game console manufacturer to actually
to go to the game designers first and ask them what kind
of hardware and system architecture they needed to create
the best gaming experience possible. Then Microsoft made
the Xbox according to the needs of those software programmers
which is an exciting, fundamental shift in the relationship
between hardware and software producers. Programmers can
now create games that offer improved playing responsiveness
and graphics rendering capability. You'll enjoy your gaming
with Microsoft's Xbox Game Consoles.
